Leisa Richards

Leisa attended Carleton College in Minnesota, and later received a Master of Divinity degree in theology from Harvard University. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctorate from the University of South Dakota School of Law. Since graduating, Leisa has served as a lawyer for indigent and low-income clients, with a number of non-profit and legal aid agencies. She is a member of the South Dakota, New Mexico, and federal District of South Dakota bars; and a former member of the North Dakota, Standing Rock Tribal Court, and Isleta Tribal Court bars. Leisa is born and raised in Aberdeen, South Dakota and is excited to be back and working in the community!
