Tillie Bulman

Tillie earned her Bachelor of Science Degrees in History, Women’s Studies and Psychology from the University of Wyoming. She went on to obtain her Juris Doctor from the University of Wyoming College of Law, practicing in both family law and criminal law in Southeastern Wyoming for the majority of her career until moving to Sioux Falls in the Fall of 2018.  Tillie has extensive experience as a prosecutor of intimate partner violence and crimes against children, and in providing legal advocacy for victims of crime in civil practice.  She began working for the Laramie County District Attorney’s Office in Cheyenne, Wyoming as an intern prior to graduating from law school, and moved into a permanent position as Assistant District Attorney, prosecuting crimes of domestic violence.  Tillie went into private practice in 2007 and worked as a parent’s attorney and Guardian ad Litem in juvenile cases, as well as taking on various types of family law cases.  In 2007, she was appointed interim County and Prosecuting Attorney in Platte County Wyoming while maintaining her private practice.  Tillie then returned to the Laramie County District Attorney’s Office as an Assistant District Attorney and prosecuted felony level domestic violence crimes as well as crimes involving physical and sexual abuse of children.
